What is a Body Composition Test?Our Body composition analysis is a non-invasive test that uses bioelectrical impedance analysis technology. It provides detailed insights into your body's makeup, including muscle mass, body fat percentage, bone mass, hydration levels, and more.

What is bioelectrical impedance analysis?Bioelectrical impedance body composition analysis is a method used to assess body composition by measuring the impedance of an electrical current as it travels through the body. This analysis helps determine the percentage of body fat, muscle mass, and water content.

How accurate are my results?We use state-of-the-art equipment that is highly accurate. The tests are based on scientifically validated methods, and our specialists are trained to ensure the results are reliable and meaningful for your health goals.

Do I need to prepare for my test?There’s no need to fast, but for the most accurate results its best to avoid eating for at least 2-3 hours before the test. Please avoid drinking excessive amounts of water or caffeine right before the test, as this may affect some measurements.

What should I wear for my test?We recommend wearing comfortable, non-restrictive clothing to allow for ease of movement during the posture and fitness assessments. It is also advised to remove any metal accessories, such as jewellery and anything that might hinder direct contact with the electrodes.

How long does the test take?The entire health assessment typically takes around 10 minutes per person, We aim to make the process quick and efficient without compromising the depth of analysis.

Who should not Body Composition Testing, and why?BCA scans are not recommended for the following groups: Pregnancy, Nursing Mothers - Body composition algorithms are based on "normal" healthy adults. Because body composition for pregnant women and nursing mothers is relatively inconsistent (particularly body water), results should be used for reference only. Prosthetics, Amputation - Measurement current needs to pass through both hands and feet to operate correctly. If subject has amputated limbs or prosthetics, the scan will not function correctly. Embedded Metal - Measurement utilizes electrical conductivity properties of the human body. Metal conductivity is higher than that of body tissue, and may cause inaccurate measurement results.
